4. Cookies and third-party content

Our website uses a small amount of local storage needed for it to work (for example remembering your cookie choice). With your consent, we load:

  • Live chat (Tawk.to): lets you chat with us. Tawk.to may set its own cookies.
  • Embedded YouTube video: shown in privacy-enhanced mode, and loaded only after you accept cookies or press play. YouTube may set its own cookies.
  • Meta Pixel: an advertising measurement tool (see “Meta Pixel and advertising cookies” below).

Meta Pixel and advertising cookies

With your consent, we use Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. for users in the EEA and UK). It helps us measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work, for example how many people visit our site after seeing an ad.

When it is active, Meta Pixel records page views and sends Meta technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page you visited and cookie identifiers. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you, as described in its own policy.

Meta Pixel loads only after you click “Accept” in our cookie banner. It does not load if you click “Decline”, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we treat as an opt-out. You can withdraw your consent at any time using (also in the site footer). After that, Meta Pixel will not load on later page views. You can also manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

For more on how Meta uses this data, see the Meta Privacy Policy.

Map links open Google Maps in a new tab only when you click them. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the site footer, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

  • Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal);
  • Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting (for example Hostinger), email, our email and project management systems, live chat, cloud storage, analytics and advertising platforms;
  • Team members and contractors working on your project, who must keep it confidential;
  • Third-party platforms you ask us to work with (Apple App Store, Google Play, hosting and cloud providers, and third-party APIs);
  • Professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers or the public;
  • A successor business if the brand or the company is sold or reorganised.

Text messaging (SMS): Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your number only to send the support and project-update texts you agreed to; you can reply STOP to cancel at any time.

6. International transfers

TOBODIGI LLC is based in the United States, and our providers and team members may be in other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. These countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual commitments.

7. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact, and project, invoice and payment records for as long as needed for the project and for tax and legal purposes (generally 7 years). Project files are kept as described in our Delivery & Fulfillment Policy. After these periods, we delete or anonymise the information.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, such as access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send card details, passwords or sensitive information through our enquiry forms, chat or WhatsApp.

9. Children

Our services are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights (United States, including California)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: - Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it; - Ask us to correct or delete your personal information; - Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. Where advertising pixels count as “sharing”, you can opt out through our cookie or tracking preferences, through GPC, or by emailing us; - Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information for that purpose); - Not be discriminated against for using these rights.

California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA). Residents of other US states with consumer privacy laws may have similar rights. Visitors from the UK, EU or other regions may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to their local data protection authority. Where those laws apply, we process your information to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, or with your consent.

To make a request, email info@apprateus.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and you may use an authorised agent. We respond within the time the law requires (generally 30–45 days).

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will make it clear on our website.

When you visit our site or complete an enquiry or purchase, we may share event details with Meta Platforms, such as the page viewed, a lead or purchase event, the order value and currency, your device and browser details, and your IP address. When you give us your email address or phone number, we may also share them in hashed (encrypted, one-way) form so Meta can match the event to an account.
